A smarter way to park

Visitor Parking Solutions (VPS) was created to solve a common problem: visitor parking bays in residential buildings are often misused, leading to frustration and disputes. Since launching, VPS has become a trusted solution for thousands of users across Australia. From boutique residences to high-density complexes, as well as commercial properties, VPS is revolutionising the way visitor parking is managed, ensuring compliance and hassle-free visitor parking management for residents, visitors, staff, and building managers. Advanced camera integration technology enables fully automated vehicle recognition and seamless access control, delivering an even smoother parking experience.

Our story

In 2019 founder Nick Christian was exploring ways to repurpose parking sensor technology. He had been tasked with finding new opportunities for the sensors originally used by local councils which led him to speak with building managers parking operators and other professionals.


A recurring challenge became clear. Building managers were spending hours managing bookings chasing non-compliant vehicles and dealing with constant resident complaints. At the time there was no dedicated system in place to manage these bays fairly or efficiently.


Nick spent time on site with a building manager to see the problem firsthand. He began mapping out a smarter solution that would not only prevent misuse but also empower buildings with automation and real-time data.

After months of research, he sourced IOT-enabled bollards and began building an integrated platform from the ground up. The result was VPS, a flexible parking system used across residential and commercial properties that gives residents an easy way to book bays while giving managers visibility and control.

VPS officially launched during COVID and is now helping communities and businesses manage visitor parking with less stress and more peace of mind. As the exclusive distributor of Smart Bollards across Australia and New Zealand, VPS supports residential and commercial properties throughout both countries. It now also supports automated entry through smart camera technology using License Plate Recognition (LPR), providing an even more seamless experience.
